Plan for the right JGW venue

JGW brings jewelry sourcing activity to two Hong Kong venues. The organizer lists the HKCEC jewelry exhibition for September 16–20, 2026; our invitation is for that venue. Do not confuse it with the AsiaWorld-Expo portion of the event when planning your journey. Check the official JGW website for the current event arrangements.

The organizer lists HKCEC opening hours as 10:00–18:00 on September 16–19 and 10:00–17:00 on September 20, Hong Kong time. Visitor admission is subject to the organizer's requirements. Review the official visitor information before travelling; an appointment with us does not replace exhibition registration or admission.

What can we discuss at booth 5C-232?

Bring a specific project, even if it is still at the sketch stage. A useful meeting starts with the piece you want to develop and the decision you need help making. For a statement pendant, that might be overall proportions and chain fit. For a repeatable collection, it could be material selection, finish consistency, size variations or packaging instructions.

We welcome conversations about custom pendants, chains, rings, bracelets and earrings, including hip-hop-inspired jewelry and private-label collections. Tell us which product details are essential to your brand and which can change. We will discuss the proposed specification rather than assume that every option shown online is available in every material or construction.

You can also review the stages of our custom jewelry development process before your visit. A meeting is a starting point for technical review; final feasibility, costs and delivery dates need to be confirmed for the individual project.

Bring a brief that helps us quote accurately

A reference image helps communicate appearance, but dimensions and quantities make the discussion much more useful. For example, two pendants with the same silhouette may need different construction if one is a compact everyday piece and the other is a large statement design. A clear brief helps us understand which version you mean.

• Bring a simple sketch, reference photo or existing CAD file that you have permission to use.
• State the height, width and thickness in millimeters. For a pendant, identify whether the height includes the bail.
• Specify the metal and finish separately, and identify the requested stone type.
• Give quantities by design, size and finish, not just a combined total.
• Include your target budget, delivery country, preferred arrival date and packaging requirements.
• Mark uncertain details so we can discuss alternatives instead of treating them as approved specifications.

Compare materials and diamond requirements before sampling

Choosing brass, sterling silver or stainless steel is a design and business decision as well as a price decision. Explain the customer, intended use and finish you want, then discuss a suitable production route. Our material selection guide provides a starting point for that conversation.

For diamond projects, distinguish natural from laboratory-grown stones and state any grading-report requirement at the beginning. Carat weight alone is not enough to compare quotations: color, clarity, cut and the individual stone also matter. Turn the meeting into a clear next step

Before leaving the booth, aim to identify the next action: sending missing measurements, reviewing a material option, confirming a quotation or arranging a sample. Written notes help both teams avoid treating an exploratory conversation as a final production approval. Keep a reference for the design version being discussed, especially when comparing several alternatives.

Our indicative sample fee is USD 50–200, depending on material, design and complexity. Sampling is generally 2–3 weeks, with bulk production generally 2–4 weeks as a separate stage. Confirm the applicable scope, start dates and schedule in the project quotation; these are not guaranteed exhibition-order delivery dates. Shipping time is additional.

Questions before your visit

Do I need a finished CAD file to meet the team?

No. A simple sketch or reference image is enough to start the conversation. Bring approximate dimensions, intended material and quantity if possible. We will identify which information is still needed before a reliable quote or sample plan can be prepared.

Can I arrange a meeting before arriving at the exhibition?

Yes. Send your preferred date and time in Hong Kong time, company name, contact details and a short project description. We will confirm availability. Including your product category helps keep the discussion focused, particularly if your visit is brief.

What if I cannot attend JGW this September?

You can still send a project brief through our website. Include the same references, dimensions, materials and quantities you would bring to the booth. We can continue the discussion remotely; attending the exhibition is not a requirement for starting a custom project.
